Insupen
Insupen
Precision engineered insulin pen needles
Insupen needles are available in 5 lengths (4-12mm) and 4 different thicknesses from the particularly fine 33G (0.20mm) to 29G (0.33mm) so you only need one name when choosing the appropriate needle for you.

Finer needles cause less pain*
Insulin therapy is essential to keep blood glucose levels under control for all people with Type 1 diabetes and for some people with Type 2 diabetes. Insulin injections can be a little painful to begin with, especially the first few because you may be feeling tense. As your confidence grows and you become more relaxed they will get easier and soon become second nature.
Insupen 33G is the thinnest pen needle available on the NDSS in Australia. Clinical trials have shown that the amount of pain at the moment of injection depends on the outer diameter of the needle*.
.

Innovative thin-wall technology
Innovative thin-wall technology also means a wider internal diameter leading to smoother delivery of insulin and greater comfort. 33G diameter needles reduce pain during injection when compared to other needles.
